About UrbanGypZ Fiber artist Stacey Budge — you might know her as UrbanGypZ — works out of a home studio just outside Raleigh, NC, where the loom is usually warped with something interesting and there's fiber drying somewhere it shouldn't be. Her mission: to build a real community around freeform weaving and spinning — not a masterclass, a studio you belong to. She believes fiber art doesn't need gatekeeping, and that the most interesting work happens when you stop trying to do it "right" and start finding your own visual language.
