When I tell people I am a fiber artist, they will often not even know what fiber art is. It is kind of unusual to consider fiber as art. But if fiber is your medium, be it knitting, crochet, spinning or weaving, you may already be making art and not realize it. You see art is a visual language applying the creativity of your right brain. Today fiberista I am going to share with you a little about my journey from knitter and hand spinner to fiber artist. I am also going to share with you some ways you may be working as a fiber artist already and how you can do a few simple things to grow your fiber art practice.
