So, today I have a new video for you. You see I have a new Facebook group for peeps on my email list called the UrbanGypZ Fiber Art Collective. Each week I open up the opportunity to ask me anything…fibery, business, life, anything. Last week Cheryl wanted to know how to make this yarn: So, today I am showing you how I card up the art batt for this yarn. Enjoy!
So there you have it. We will spin it up next week.

Ooooh, I’ve never seen a batt of any kind created before. I feel like I could even try it out after seeing this video. You spoke clearly, explained what you were doing, and had a good camera angle to show what you were doing. I can’t wait to see the batt spun into yarn. And now I must check out your shop!
Aw thank you Kamille!
I enjoy all of your videos, and this was no exception. Also, what sweater pattern is that, if you don’t mind sharing (and I know you don’t)?
Aw Thanks Debbie! The sweater is a Noro pattern from the Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton book (may be OOP) and the pattern is Klaralund. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/klaralund
Stacey, wonderful video! Thanks for taking the time to share your creativity.
Now, I know we sympatico…I have a sweater made from that exact same yarn, same color way and everything. I used a pattern from an old Vogue Knitting magazine with bell sleeves, faux cowl, knit in the round all the way up. Made me grin to see you wearing the same yarn.
I’m Angora Acres on your FB group.
Aw thanks Angela. It is my pleasure to be able to share with you guys. you guys inspire me so much.
Your sweater twin,
S.
