My New Studio: Week 1

Aug 3, 2016everyday life, The Business of being an artist3 comments

It’s all happening….

We officially moved what I imagine will be the first of many loads across state. It was a small load really that consisted of my most fragile fiber art equipment and things we needed to be able to stay here as we migrate across state.

So I thought I would give you guys a first glimps of my new fiber art space in the townhome and hopefully as I continued hue to get set up.

So what is your space like? Share pix in the comments, or head over to my FB page and post some there.

Hi Stacey! Thanks for sharing all of your tips and creativity!

Where did you move to? I just relocated to Raleigh/Durham, and I’d be thrilled if you set up shop nearby.

(Sorry if you already mentioned your new location — I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere.)
    Thanks! Lori

Hi Lori! I bet we are close, we are in NW Cary, close to RTP. We should meet up for some coffee shop knitting. Email me.

So exciting to be setting up a new creative space from scratch. Enjoy every minute of dreaming what will go where.

Falling off my habit wagon

I am not gonna lie...I have fallen down on the tiny habits thing. I am almost 6 months in, halfway. I knew this would probably happen. I even gave myself a little grace period to skip adding new habits for 8 weeks(broken up as needed) I just know myself. I will let...

Friday Five: random 5 things on my mind lately

Hey Fiberista. I think I need more coffee, but I am pushing forward anyway. I am sitting on my front balcony listening to my neighbor chat on the phone in a different language. It is cool enough for a sweater, but sunny enough to be an irresistible morning. I toyed...
